I just talked to Countrywide, they'll cover the payment, then readjust the impound payment to make up for the extra being paid out of it. The cool thing is (I'm not sure why), but my payment was set to go down $200 in April (I'm guessing this is because my property taxes were less than expected?). But even with this extra supplemental, my monthly payment will still go down $100.

Question, is this year-end supplemental payment a one-time dealio, or does it come up every year?

Tell me if this is a flawed policy.

My instructor for my Finance 101 course says that if you come to class late, he will dock you 10 points. In addition, he usually makes some smart-*** remark to the student walking in late, trying to embarrass them in front of the class.

This morning, I was heading to class, and of course some retards had an accident at the Howe Ave. exit, which backed up traffic (on both sides of the freeway, even though no cars were in the lanes of course) for quite a ways. As a result, I was going to be late to class.

So, instead of getting there 10 minutes late and listening to the last 40 minutes of class, losing 10 points and having the instructor try to embarrass me (which wouldn't work, because I'm awesome), I just didn't go to class. As a result, I did not lose 10 points, I didn't have to deal with his dumb *** comments, I got to work an hour earlier and now I get to go home an hour earlier than I would have.

FTW

Just once. The taxes you paid initially were the originally assessed value of the land with no structure. The supplemental bill was the reassessed value of the land with structure. Going forward, your property taxes will only increase by a small amount, when the provisions of Prop 13 are satisfied to do so.

That's what we did. We noticed our cat was lonely - he wouldn't leave us alone when we got home and he'd always be laying right at the door in the evenings, so we got another. Solved that problem

Wait... you lose points if you are late, but you don't lose participation points or anything if you flat out just don't show up?!?! Plus he tries to make an *** of you for being late? Wow... I'm glad I never had a teacher like that, he'd drop me from the class within two weeks. If he tried to embarrass me infront of the class i'd make a smartass comment back. Then i'd start purposely coming in late....

I had a highschool teacher who use to say smartass **** when I came in late to class. He stopped after I came in late one day with my friend, and he was like "Were you two playing grab *** behind the gym"... And I replied, "Yes, we kept telling your mom to hurry up and finish but she just couldn't get enough of us...." He wasn't to pleased with that response, and it's not like he could get me into trouble after his comment he said to me

Ya, when I get home he comes running down the stairs to greet me. He follows me for a minute or so, then once I show him some form of acknowledgeable he goes off and does his own thing again. It's like he just wants to say Hi, then be left alone. For the most part I'd say he is pretty happy, but every now and then when I come home and see him sleeping in the window alone it makes me want to get another

I had also received another tax bill earlier in the year that Countrywide did cover, then I had just received this supplemental bill in December. So why would the county need to send a supplemental tax bill at the end of each year, can't that just be included in the regular tax bill?

Nevermind i re-read your note...Comprehension > me

I ninja-edited my post from every year (because I typed wrong) to just once. In the future, you'll get just the one bill.

my guitar teacher in high school would go "you're late matt" and I'd go "yeah, parking was a *****" he was a cool teacher. The fun ones are the ones you can joke with and they'll joke back. Freshman year my woodshop teacher was bald and this one kid always made annoying jackass jokes everyday about it. About halfway through the year this kid kept dyig his hair different colors and it turned grey and fell out in clumps, oh my ****ing god my teacher had the best time of his life giving the kid so much **** for it!

I keep coming into math class late though (3 out of 4 class meetings) and so far the instructor is cool about it, but I've gotta get my *** in gear because math is one class I really need the instructor to not hate me

we had a cat that did that. I usually walk up the inside stairs from the garage and he'd sit at the door at the top waiting for me. Now my basset jump on a chest and looks out the front window overlooking the driveway the moment he hears my car and then he runs to the front door if I walk up those stairs and all I can see is his eyes peering over the bottom edge of the window in the front door...I laugh about it everyday he does it
