Currently we push most our updates thru the console (Windows, flash, Firefox, ect). For those that need something random (VLC, Quicktime, ect), we prolly get to them within 20 mins..

Think they would approve of something like that if you were to propose it? Tell them, yes it will cost some money, but you would save a lot of time and would be able to focus on more serious issues than Flash updates.

I don't even try to recommend anything anymore and basically just do what I'm told. At least the admin is going to get WSUS up and running
