about 280~300 miles of city / spirited driving before my fuel light comes on. usually averages out to 16ish mpg.
on the wrx i got about 18mpg consistently with a vf34 setup, only about 16mpg with the small turbo + full exhaust.

okay...who has gone past the low gas light?
the first week i had my OBS the light came on about 10-15 miles from work...
i drove to work, and when i left i made it about a mile down the road and i made a left onto sunset and the car surged like it was running out of gas...luckily there's that gas station rith there, so i turned in and filled up...but i found it odd that i couldn't go much more than a few miles once the LGL went on.
all the hondas i've owned always went for at least 30-50 miles once the LGL went on...
i had a 1.5L civic that went 50+.

ive gone as far as 50 miles into the idiot light, its supposed to turn on when theres 2.3 gals left in the tank but it isnt always accurate, it will turn on when your parked facing up hill, and will sumtimes turn on when you mash it when its low.. usually just to be safe i fill up shortly after the light turns on, within 20-30 miles
Alright well with some pretty spirited drives lately I am now at 170 at the half way mark..But I am gonna fill up tomorrow so i won't get a good read on it this time.
maybe I still am granny driving.... The highest i have gotten up to in 3rd gear was only 85mph...maybe I'm not pushing her enough.

Yeah, I have an STI. I've gotten 275 at the most all highway. And thats after the low fuel light has been on for a while. City driving, maybe 225. Its all about that turbo! But seriously, for a turbo powered car the STI does pretty good on gas. Does anybody notice a difference in gas mileage if they use their DCCD? Just curious if you maybe get better gas mileage when you have the torque set to the rear diff. I havent noticed much of a difference, but i think the mileage gets worse with most power set to rear. Feedback anyone?
