Re-read yourself. Don't jack someone else's discussion and get mad when someone makes on-topic comments regarding the OP's question about multiple models.

Hahaha. Thanks guys. He wants to buy new and finance. I'm looking into some deals for him.

And just my own opinion, but I hate Maita. They tried to sell me a WRX sedan for 28k back in 03 and then I turn around and get one for 21 OTD at autowest. I mean, that's not even sensible.

And on the TR issue... Is there a Auto TR? Yea, I know it sucks to get an Auto... But he wants it to be auto so if anyone in the family needs to they can take it out.

There is no Auto TR, unless you got some weird dealer option or something I haven't heard of. According to the Subaru website, your options are either Standard WRX, or WRX Limited for an automatic with the WRX.

Are you for real? Because if that's true then the dealer is lying to me. Autowest told me that the WRX Limited is the only one with an auto option.

Hahaha, they calm down there with the bug eye hate.

And he's never had a new car before so he's looking for something off the lot. Thanks though.

Hahaha. Is yours an Auto Mr Furley?

And what's the price and mileage? It's gotta pretty new for him to even consider it.

Def. not a vagina shift... its a 5spd. If he wants an auto he would probably kill himself with my car anyways

He's stupid for buying a very lightly used car and letting the original owner take the depreciation hit? That seems pretty smart to me.

And if someone is financing a WRX, at a normal interest rate, the extra $2k will equate to about $40/mo in payments, and he will not have $2k liquid to dump straight in to mods

I think if I were to buy a WRX right now it would be a TR. I don't like all that extra stuff they put into the cars now anyway. When I got mine in 03 I got it bare bones, no extras.
