Agreed! I was bummed to see that the jump seats with the grab handles were gone, but at least somewhat mollified that they were replaced with wheel tubs and big fat slicks. But then again I'm a special kind of drag racing redneck so my perspective is a bit skewed.

Say no to any pre-99 Miata. It's just not worth getting when you can have a much better car all around for just pennies more (often not even any more)

It wasn't even about the money. I have one in my Amazon cart. It's at the bottom of the list because it's been there the longest. I think I only pulled it out to see what it looked like. There were some leaves and dirt on it and that was it. Knocked it out and stuck it back in. **** it.

If you want an NA it looks like a great car. NA is a better Miata, but NBs are better cars while still being a damned good Miata.
Reno does not really salt in the same way as in the midwest does so it should not be a problem.

If by "better Miata" you mean it's gayer looking, sloppier chassis, inferior suspension components, inferior engine and ecu, much less refined, and uses parts designed in the 70's/80's, I guess I would agree.

What I always find crazy is how many people pick up an NA, then dump thousands of dollars into it buying superior NB parts, just to make it somewhat sort of close to an NB (it still isn't, but it's close).
