I wouldn't mind getting picked for jury duty to sit through a case.

that's pretty gross. I mean I know my filter has been really dirty but that takes it to a whole new level of dirty.

Served on a domestic violence/battery case about 12-13 years ago. A couple in a mobile home in Williams were drinking and got into it. Mutual combatants: he gave her a black eye and a concussion, and she broke his nose. lol I served on his trial, but the defense attorney made it very clear that she was going to trial, too--probably to gain a bit of sympathy. Trial lasted about a week. We deliberated for only a couple hours and convicted him of battery and some of the other charges. Pretty sure both ended up serving, but I don't remember for how long.

I was called in for Federal court not too long ago, but the judge came out before juror selection and said the defendant begged for a plea bargain, but wouldn't tell us who or what the case was for/about. Kinda bummed. I don't mind serving. I think it's interesting.

He probably didn't even know the car has a panel filter at all.

On the up-side, everything is actually in real good shape once I clean off the 500 layers of dust/dirt/elements

Yeah, I think some cases could be interesting to sit in. The last time I came close to being on the jury was during the jury selection. My name was called to come sit at the 6 seats to be interviewed by the prosecutor and the defendant's attorney. At the time, I wasn't working and was applying for federal law enforcement. The case was a DV case where the husband attacked the wife with a shot gun. When the judge asked the prosecutor if he wanted to use any of his dismisses, he said no. Then when the judge asked the defendant's attorney, the attorney said "please give me a moment to speak with my client" Not even a minute into sitting in my seat, I get dismissed with the quickness by the defense attorney after speaking with their client for like 5 seconds.
