How much VB do you need to know

 

I think they're looking for at least two years experience in claims and enough VB to be able to manage a custom built claims system. Dunno exactly how many years experience they want with VB, I'll see if I can find out.

 

I only have been going to school and taught VB, I don't have any real life experience with it outside of my own tests/school... plus I have absolutely 0 years experience really in claims, so don't waist your time checking up on it I was just wondering what kind of experience jobs are looking for these days for when I make myself available in the market

 

I'll check in case anyone else is interested though. This is definitely not an entry-level position.

Dunno, I'm not a programmer and haven't really looked around. I know the company I'm at doesn't need entry-level, but there are so many tech businesses around I'm sure there is a need, you just have to find it.

• Minimum of 4 years experience with Visual Basic.
• Minimum of 2 years experience with MS SQL Server.
• Minimum of 1 year experience with EDI.
• Minimum of 4 years in a development role.
• Minimum of 1 year experience within an insurance or benefit environment.
• Project management experience preferred.
