Yep, it is.
Been done, multiple times.
A friend of mine has done it multiple times on WRX transmissions and is working on a production piece to allow swapping between AWD and RWD, too, but I'm not getting into that on this board.

I will say this. If you don't know how to do it, you don't know enough about the transmission and axle setup, and it would be a horrible idea for you to try. It's non-reversible, and requires modifying a few parts very carefully to do it right.

Why do you want to make the car RWD?

happy friday!

my wife is freaking out becuase her tire was low yesterday, I filled it to 30 psi (in the heat of the day) and this morning she checks it and its 26psi. (64f outside)

oh noes!

it must be leakzoring! OMGOBGYNWTF!

So I tell her to check the other tire, its at 26psi too.

Mistakenly, I thought this would convince her that its the "cold tire pressure."

No, her other tire is "still leaking" because "it looks like it bulges more"
