You realize that a cop can still determine your speed...even if he's in front of you.

Do you find it easier to tell how fast the car next to you is going or the car on the other side of the highway? Personally I find it easier to match the speed of the car next to me and then look at my speedometer and subtract 5mph.

If he is doing 80 and you are hanging with him he can safely say that you were driving at a rate above the posted speed limit.

K, just wondering, and then I heard that if the radar device is at an angle to you then its practicaly useless because at the point where the cop is at your side the radar will read 0?
plays well with others

Every day this week, I have seen the same Sac City police cruiser on WB 80 doing about 60mph in the right hand lane. And every day this week said officer's driving habit has caused stupid people to create traffic congestion behind him, today there was nothing but open freeway ahead of him as he was doing this.
Today also marks the second day in a row that said officer has waved to me as I passed him with the cruise control set at 65mph. To date, only one person has followed me past the cop, the rest were either too sacared to pass him or are OK with being part of the problem.
I can't count on one hand how many people gave me the single index finger pointed straight up and swirled around to simulate spinning police lights as I carved traffic to get ahead of them so I could do the speed limit. I returned a finger, but not the same one they used...
