that's fine if you plan to buy in Idaho but if you plan to stay in Cali you're screwed if that happens...

and, besides, who wants to live in Idaho?

Unfortunately, I can't make it to the BBQ.

OK, this is gayer than a bag of dicks but...

My company is compiling a "profile" list for each employee. We are required to submit a bio and a photograph of ourselves for the corporate intranet site. I have resisted as long as I could, but have now been told that if I do not come up with something they will.

I want to make this as horrible as possible without getting fired so I need ideas on what type of photo op to stage and send in along with what to put in the bio...

Any input would be greatly appreciated...

The possibilities are endless, but you don't want to get in trouble.

I think a picture taken with some form of livestock would be amuzing.

If I had a million dollars, I could probably hook that up. Two sheep at the same time...

I think I am going to write it in the 3rd person and include something like:

His neighbors say he is a fan of old 80s sitcoms, in fact quite often a loud thud can be heard coming from his house followed by a loud yell - "Who's the boss!"

Yes we did. I always planned the annual Northern Kalifornia one. It was not much different from our Subaru meets (just more old, less geek).

We even had a National meet back at the plant in Kentucky, and no, I didn't go.

i found out yesterday that my company in "encouraging" employees to become "six sigma specialists" (it's a process/quality thing) by the end of 2006. by "encouraging" they mean expecting 100% of employees to do this and witholding 2006 merit increases for those who don't do it.

but they say they want us to do it for the recognition...

As long as they are paying for the classes, do it. It will look great on your resume!

they cover all those costs, and all i've got left to do is my project and i'm in. it's just kind of weaksauce that they're mandating it. i was doing it because of the resume thing and it would have been cool to have that training to distinguish myself from my peers... now everybody has to do it anyway, so it's not worth as much as it used to be around here.
