Just tell them you're married. I pay about $1400 per year.
Stick with them and you'll be glad you did when it matters the most.

before i got married, we were both paying along the lines of $150/mo each. married and on the same policy it dropped down to $215/mo.
USAA has always given me excellent service whenever i've needed to file a claim. one incident i was rear-ended and when i called the other drivers insurance they said that they could not find her as a current client. I put USAA on the case and within an hour they had contacted me back to let me know they tracked the other drivers insurance down and both companies had determined she was at fault.
Im 24 and have a 05' STi.
I had one at fault wreak, totaled at new toyota doublecab 4X4, and 1 speeding ticket (that they know of
i pay $227 a month with progressive, who i can say enough good things about they are a great company very easy to deal with 24/7 and very willing to help ya out.
coverages:
liability 100/300/50k
uninsured 100/300/3.5k
medical payments 5000per person
comp deduct. $500
collision $1000
rental $30/day
in car theft up to $2000
according to my aunt who is a insurance agent for state farm this is an extremly good rate for an STi and the coverages i have, which according to her are one of the highest rates of any car in calif.

I'd drop AAA for now. They hate insuring young people, so their rates are always going to be pretty high if you shop around. Allstate gave me a pretty good rate when I bought my RS.

Jesus.
I'm still "garaging" my car at my parent's place. It's a non-turbo, but was a 30k car new, and my insurance is like 1200/year.
Has been ever since my 25+ ticket dropped off

I have the minimum insurance required by state law (Car is paid off) and I pay $900 Anually through CSAA (I don't pay monthly, as you end up spending $120 more in interest if you do that)
Also, I am getting a discount because they insure my home too...

All these postings are good and all, but it's VERY important to show where you live. Sacramento and Reno are probably very different, and I don't know where all of you peeps are living. I, by the way, pay through the nose - 1448/6 mos, 25 years old, 05 STi, Sacto. I work for an insurance company, by the way.
