Buying a NEW 06 STi... Please Give Me Your Advice, Thanks

Alright guys so my mind is made up, after much thinking I have finally decided to get the new 06 STi, but before I do I wanna know some advice from you experts who actually own the car.

MSRP is about $33,000 but when I go to a dealer what price should I been looking at around? Because I know I am going to bargin down =P Also because this is a supercar how much am I looking to pay for insurance for either 6 months or a year.

Other members can tell you what they paid for the car but your insurance cost will vary widely depending on factors like your age, where you live, property owner, marriage status, and driving record. Call your existing insurance agent or other insurers for an accurate annual cost for you. You need to establish insurance before you can drive the car off the lot in any event, so you might as well find out before you buy the car.

I just made a post so this is a simple copy and paste from that one.

According to edmunds invoice for a 2006 is $31,044

+ $500 over invoice(standard deal now days)

+ $500 for destination fee

+ $250-300 license

+ tax @ 8.25% on $32344 = $2668.38 = grand total of $35012.38 out the door.

And that's for a bone stock 06. More if you add other items like arm rest wheels locks etc. @ 5% APR for 60 months you're looking at 661.00 a month.

Your only other option is to buy my car: https://www.i-club.com/forums/norcal-classifieds-96/fs-2005-wrx-sti-obp-135140/ jk

I paid in Puerto Rico.. 40,995 thats because the tax and all that. And the insurance I paid 2,600 for the first year because I'm 18 years old and all that. To some people is expensive... it is but all the cars here in Puerto Rico you gotta paid 5k-10k more than the regular price in the 50 states... sucks but...
