Im sure youve already punished yourself enough for not making it into the academy so im not even gonna harp on your for it.. im a better person than that

 

actually not making it into the academy this time around was probably the best thing that could have happened. gives me the time to get back in shape (ive lost 30 pounds so far), finish up my AA (should have it done in a year) and get into a strong financial position before i meet the POST standards regarding the use of marry jane and re-apply. you act like my future in law enforcement is over because of that, i look at it as a wake up call.

Well i wont try to belittle you for your personal choices in life so dont try to belittle me for mine.

I do have to ask one thing though... why the hell would you choose to make one of the few times you smoked pot right before you applied to the academy??

if 6 months is right before, than sure. it was a bad choice. **** happens, nothing i can do about it now but wait and better prepare myself for when i am ready to try again.

i could have lied about it, but im better than that. ive learned to live or die by the decisions i make and not try to sneak around it and blame them on someone else. kind of like the opposite of your exhaust situation huh? LOL. ok, enough of the jabs.
