Try FX Home Theater in Folsom, I walked in there one time and they were totally nice to me, even though they knew I couldn't buy half the stuff they were selling. They could pretty much get you anything you could ever want. They custom order everything you need and install it. Also, I believe they can do a consultation on your setup too, I'd recommend them, even though I didn't buy from them. Sorry no phone number

FX Home Theater
2766 East Bidwell Street, Ste 400
Broadstone Marketplace
Folsom, CA 95630

Also, if you ever want to do custom car audio, there is Audiosports in Folsom, CA (everything is in Folsom!). They've done Lambo's, Ferrari's, Hummer's, my car, and everything in between (including most of the King's players cars).

What about Magnolia HiFi? They're at Arden down by the Best Buy next to AT&T (Cingular now). They sell a lot of high-end stuff and I believe do installs.

Ya I've been to Paradyme and Magnolia but they seem like they charge more then the smaller specialized stores. I want to get a couple of estimates from different places and I'm thinking of having someone from Magnolia come out just to do a comparison.

Smart idea. Remember you're paying for quality as well. Yeah, Magnolia might charge a bit more, but they probably have a better warranty program, etc. If they offer one.

I'd ignore Magnolia and Paradyme, I have done allot of home audio shopping in the past and Magnolia/Paradyme stock the good brands but at exhorbitent prices. In going to the smaller places, they can sell the system as a whole for a lower price, where as the two big ones sell each component indivually, because that's the only way they can sell their items. Also, if you want the best sounding speakers at a midrange price, I highly recommend JM Lab speakers (same company that makes Focal car audio stuff), their home audio line is phenominal.

Edit: mind you, I'm not baggin on either Magnolia or Paradyme, I got a great price on my Denon HDMI DVD player at Magnolia, its just I wouldn't go to them for setting up a WHOLE system.

Ya I honestly know nothing about this stuff, so I'm just trying to protect myself from paying way more then I need to for what I want. I do want a complete system that sounds good and I think I've started off on the right foot with the tv (Pioneer elite 60 inch), and I want the same kind of quality from the rest of the components.

A little biased, but I'd HIGHLY recommend Klipsch. They rival most stuff that are priced higher. They sound amazing. My roommate had the full high-end "Refrence" line in our apartment. (See the other thread for pics)

You can find dealers here
I'd recommend going to them and listening to their speakers. Here are a few places that carry them, call and ask if they have a pair of RF 7's hooked up.

^^^^^^^Acutally, yeah, I would tend to agree, for what you pay for Klipsch, they sound stellar. They also make in-wall speakers like you had talked about before when I was at Paul's shop, and very very very nice subwoofers. For a reciever, ALWAYS go high end, you will always get what you pay for when shopping for a reciever. With your two TV's, I'd look at a reciever that has the ability for multiroom setups, so you don't have to buy two recievers.

I went to the home theater company a couple of weeks ago and he schooled me on plasmas and the technical junk. Thats one of the places that I'm gonna have come out and give me a quote.
