Based on my big fat spreadsheet, it looks like Safeway consistently beats Walmart in produce costs. I noticed there was only one brand of most vegetables at Wal-Mart, which probably contributed to that, but the cost difference isn't that great (even overall, I think the cost difference would be wiped out by the cost of the gas to drive from Wal-Mart to safeway).

I was worried about doing the shopping at Wal-Mart, but with the exception of this one guy and his monster kid (monster as in uncontrolled and running around slamming in to **** while he goes "come on, son, stop, come on, stop" and does nothing about it) it was all good. They had a bigger selection of the items we normally buy (like on some things they had flavors I'd never even seen before at Bel-Air or Safeway) and since it's a Wal-Mart, everything else I would need for household cleaning, laundry, even socks and undershirts (Haines, son) is all there.

Money in the bank, shorty what ya drank?
w0000t time to get a new gf.

Back in the 70's the neighbor across the street had gas stolen out of his buick several times. His great idea was to relocate his fuel filler in to his trunk and connect a small tank with an extra sweet sugar/gas mix to the stock filler pipe. Funny thing that the kid down the street just happened to lock up his motor a few days later...
