i heard the rx7 had a v8 as well. sounded like it did too.
the event did take forever. i ran in STX which was run group 3. after working i finally left mather at nearly 7 o'clock.
the event did seem very unorganized, might have just been because there where so many more cars then usual. still had a great time.

1:18:528 was my best.
I'm a little upset that I didn't get my new tires mounted in time. My tires are about to fall apart they are so old and worn. Whatever you do, don't race on budget all-season tires with zero tread (Yokohama YK420 SUCKS)
I was talking with the guy that owned the RX-7 and he lifted his hood to reveal an LS1 tucked up nicely next to the firewall.
That Camaro/Vette was by far the coolest car out there.

I only had a 1:12:67, and I know Dan had a 1:11 in his 02 RS, and Alan had a 1:10 in his WRX. I was definatly slow out there, it was my first time with this car and I wasnt trying to compete, and I had more fun trying to pull off an Intertial drift on the 3rd 180 degree corner and just trying to screw around in general
I definatly missed my old tires and suspension setup from my last car...

Results are up. Holy crap, 208 cars. No wonder it took so long.
