So I get a call transferred to my desk.

Telemarketer: "Hi this is shawn from 'some bs I didn't listen to.'

Me : How's it going

Telemarketer: I understand you have the final word when it comes to office and printer supplies.

Me: Not even close.

Telemarketer: *pauses* Well they said....... could you transfer me to who is?

Me : Sure *transfers*

 

I will be disappointed if you didn't transfer them to the parts department.

 

when I get telemarketers they go "may I speak to < somebody who probably doesn't work here anymore >" and I say "SURE!!" and transfer them to the operator

 

I transferred them to the sales managers.

Who also have no say in the matter.

 

Acceptable. You should tell them before you transfer and continue to transfer them back and forth until they give up.

 

Making telemarketers lifes miserable is fun!

 

I just like making the sales managers talk to every possible person that has no chance of buying a car.
