To the guy who paid for my toll...

thanks man.

Tonight I was coming back to Davis from home and had to go through the toll booth. In front of me was a new 09 impreza who was about to head through the toll. I make my way up to the toll and expect to pay the four dollars to go across the bridge and make my way onto 80. I reached out to hand the guy my four dollars but he said that the guy in front of me had paid for my toll!! I thought this was awesome!

I immediately sped up to catch up to him and turned on my overhead light to give him the thumbs up. Not sure if you saw it man but thanks a lot for paying for my toll!!! I will def. be returning the favor to someone in the future.

I never really experienced much from the subaru community except for the occasional peace sign or thumbs up or wave from fellow drivers but tonight really struck me as to how awesome the subaru community is. I'm not sure if he is on this website, but if you are man, thanks again!

Cliffs-

new 09 impreza was in front of me at the toll booth.
Get up to the toll booth expecting to pay for my toll.
Find out that the guy in the 09 impreza in front of me had paid for my toll.
Thought this was the coolest thing ever.
Sped up to give him the thumbs up

Thanks again to whoever you are.

Wasn't there something on the news about someone in line at the drive thru at starbucks and who paid for the person behind them, and it created a chain reaction to somewhere like 23 people ended up paying for other peoples drinks?

Either way, In times like these, with the media peddling so much fear into our lives, its good that there are still people willing to show love to strangers.

Yea I used to read threads on here about ppl doing stuff like this for others. Never thought I'd experience it myself.

Nice ... you go to Davis and have a bugeye? Were you the one who smiled at me at the South Davis Safeway last Thursday? I was in an '01 RBP 2.5 RS ^^ No Subie in Davis has acknowledged my existence except that guy the other day so it felt pretty nice
