o_0 i have an idea. buy back the totalled rs. then, with the rest of the money, buy a 93 or so Impreza. swap the drivetrain and all the other un-totalled goodies off the RS.

then take it to the track and smoke a stock WRX!

I already pulled the spoiler off, and the hood is usabe with some paint, but the stock bumper is thrashed pretty good.

Thoughts?
If you have the money to do it, I would say have fun with a new project. I think it's a pretty good price considering it's a full drivetrain. You also get the benefit of any other useable parts.

random phister:

BMW is making a supermoto. 323lbs claimed dry weight, 53hp, anti-lock as an option, 320mm front brake, no idea on price (probbaly a lot). looks like an underseat gas tank, which would mean fuel injection most likely.

The more I think about it, the more sense this makes for a daily driver actually. If I can get a GF cheap enough, I will probably do it just to have done it.
