maybe they want to help pay for half or decide on a certain type of design?
Like maybe they want a picture of a rooster on their side and maybe some some extra wide tires that are smaller diameter that stick out. Oh ya. Don't forget the rainbow tint.

Deedee. I will need an MS paint of a wall like I have described please.

FYI, if you don't mind the drive, we have cars that fit that description all over the Davis area.

Which one of you needed the Green Card?

Used Subarus are everywhere on CL, but it's hard to find one that you can save $2500 on because it needs a $500 repair...

So, the insurance company wants $1900 and change to let me keep the RS. Does anybody think it might be worth it for the engine, wiring, and interior? I don't think the transmission is worth keeping, but I supposed the manual/AWD swap parts might be worth it to the right person. I already pulled the spoiler off, and the hood is usabe with some paint, but the stock bumper is thrashed pretty good.

Thoughts?

dude, that car isnt worth it...
its DONE. if it wasnt that bad they wouldnt total it out.
find costs of totaled cars, then have printouts showing what they go for totaled, depending on the insurance co.... they'll either drop the price for the buyback or not.

/my 2cents.

The shell is worthless, but the mechanicals and interior and such would be worthwhile to swap into an older L or something possibly. I'm definitely considering keeping it for that purpose.

Why would you waste time swapping a slow motor for a slightly less slow motor? Just let em have it - I don't think you'll get $1900 back out if it, and if you do it'll be a huge hassle.

Because I think the EJ251 is the best motor you can have in a daily driver. And in a 1993 or so Impreza, it's significantly faster than a stock WRX with minor bolt-ons. Just kicking around ideas though.
