Haha, I left everything on in my Vette as well (like Jourdan, the occasional beeping reminds me to be good and that the device is working). Now that I have one in the Suby it seems like every car out there has radar auto cruise control and lane detection the false positives are getting kind of ridiculous. I figured I would try to get more surgical and found a website that said that X and K were safe to turn off. But with my luck I'll do that and find the old city police cruiser stuck with a K based gun or something. LOL

I was surprised that the big old Escort 9500ix tucked in nice and tight against the Subaru mirror using a Blendmount and Mirrortap. I like it.

I haven't used a radar detector in like ages. I did install a dash cam in my car like 3 weeks ago.

I actually turn laser off because for some reason, whether its power related, or driver assists, etc, I get an annoying amount of Laser false alarms. I leave K on because its less annoying and it picks up traffic cams at lights that are about the change so its a good heads up as well as the Your Speed Signs. However I am noticing its going off more than usual when driving down the freeway, probably do to other cars driving assist features.
In neighboring states, I do see the K band being used by LEO but its becoming more rare as they have mostly transitioned to KA.
We have an Escort 8500

I love my Valentines. Most laser stuff is LED brakelights - it started with Trailblazers and has now spread, unfortunately.
