wal-mart has everything...the question is, can you deal with walking into a zoo and wrestling 2 hippoes for the last set of lights?

My Dad used to work for seimens-litronics in the mid 80's. They made LEDs. Our garage had piles of them. One year we retrofited a set of lights with LEDs. It was super ghetto looking. Glad the rest of the world has caught up.

tree lot pwnd

we got the tree, got it hom, got it up the front stairs (1st level is actually the second level in front because the house is on a hill) and we find out the hole in the bottom is too small for the stand we have and I have noooooo clue where the large drill bits are

Just whittle it out with a Swiss Army knife, boyscout-style.

Hole in bottom?

That's from the nail that held it to the temporary cross stand.

Your tree stand should use thumscrews or something similar to hold the side of the tree in place.

I just got back from cutting down a living thing to put it in the living room to watch it die...

Pulled a bit of a Clark Griswald, 15 foot tree for an 11 foot ceiling... trim to fit.

dude, our stand is probably older than me. when I used to put a small tree in my room it had a stand with thumb screws, but that stand is too small for a 7' tree

I wanted to go to a kill your own tree farm but they only had ugo's
