Well, if you don't have a 401k like I do, then I wouldn't do that to my IRA either. But if you have other retirement investments, just do one of them, you can always put money back into it after you pay off your debts, your only 20 man, don't fret about selling off one of your retirement investments. Paying off your debt is a good long term idea, it helps you get other loans or helps you to buy a house, you won't get any kind of mortgage if you have any significant outstanding debt. That's why I did what I did.

BTW, I got the Kakimoto R exhaust, slightly used in superb condition, didn't even pay more than what I sold my JIC Ti for

Well, to be perfectly honest, I wasn't being a total jackass. I figured you meant IRA, but wasn't 100% sure. I'm not totally versed in all the different types of retirement accounts (aside from the 401k here at work), so I was thinking there might be something I'm missing.

i was being a bit sarcastic myself. there could be a ITA for all i know.

oh, talked to my dad and he said i can get back on their insurance policy. he said the reason he wanted me to get my own was because i was getting a "fast" car and wanted to track it and he didnt want to risk him and my mom losing their policy because of me being a dumbass. so i should be golden on insurance costs.

we went to carmax to look at trucks too, im pretty much dead set on a Ranger instead of a tacoma or frontier, etc. we'll see what happens.

oh, and the dent looks MUCH better. like i actually had to look hard to find it, so im very happy. and they only charged $75 instead of the $150 we were quoted.
