ok, so check this **** out.
20 years old, one speeding ticket on my record.
i curently pay $1200 every 6 months to insure my STI.
i just checked with the same company, $1100 every six months to insure a 2003 Ford Ranger......
does anyone else see anything wrong with this????
i was checking insurance on bikes too.
2006 gixxer 600 = $5000 a year for full coverage.
i used to pay $1000 a year for full coverage on the 02 gixxer 600 i had, that was before taking the MSF course and having my license.
i just cheked what it would cost to insure that same bike.......
$3600 a year.
what the **** happened???? nothing has changed except about 9 months has gone by.
and for the record, full coverage on the 2006 DRZ400SM was gonna be 750 a year. LOL.
looks like ill be asking to get back on my parents insurance policy...... :embarresed:

no insurance company wants to cover a 20 year old. no matter what you have. in the hands of the avg. 20 year old trucks roll just as much as sports cars and crotch rockets.
want to save a buck or two? get a POS geo. then get married.
I'd feel bad for you but i was in the same boat. when i was 20, I paid 2000 a year for liablity only on a 4-cly 87 mustang.

So let me get this straight, you now want to sell your STi and get ANOTHER gixxer... and now you don't have a sick WRX to drive around also like you use to... Wasn't there a reason you sold your WRX and Bike to get an STi, and I could have sworn you told me that you where happy with what you did, and you would od it again if you had to... Seems kinda stupid to me...
