ok i got an 04 wrx. i have gruppe-s power package 1b it is a gruppe-s v2 manifold helix uppipe helix tbe. ok recently i drove to missouri and got a check engine light, it was egt fail. i have since cleared that cel and now i am struggling to keep my tune. if i disconnect my battery then it will reset my ecu back to my gruppe-s tune. so i drive for a while lets say about 50 miles on average. i notice my car kinda bogs between shift(normal driving shifts). as son as i notice this i see how much boost i am getting. it is a little less than half bar. and won't go higher. but when i stay on it the boost will not drop like normal. then i have to disconnect the battery again.


so i guess what i am saying is i have no idea what is going on. if anyone can help let me know.

no i haven 't talked to them yet haven't had a chance to yet. been busy moving to my new home.

 

Take the issue up with them before anyone else is brought into the situation. Gruppe-S is a very reputable shop and deserves the bemefit of the doubt as well as the first oppurtunity to deal with whatever is going on. It is their tune and their resposibilty in other words.

 

i already got a pm from mike and he might look at it. oh and i know grupp-s is a good shop that is why i went to them. but i figured i would ask on the board if anyone has had this problem
