Does anyone.....???

Just wondering if any one says whats up to other subaru owners besides legacy and wrx's. I have an impreza L and everytime I wave or look at wrx, they kinda look at me funny or maybe its because I look so young?

Actually, that's the reaction of most WRX drivers to any wave. Just too many owners who aren't part of the community now.

Don't sweat it, they might be like me and zone out at stop lights lol. I don't waive to every Suby owner I see. Usually just the ones who have some kind of modification to their car because I know they have some interest in cars. Even then, the stock-looking silver STi yesterday was the only Subaru owner that has ever waived to me. And he's the one who waived first since I wasn't paying attention. It's not that I don't have love for other owners, I've just learned a long time ago that not everybody who drives the same car has the same enthusiasm that you do. Now, if you waived to me from your Suby, or any other car for that matter, I'd waive right back with a grin because I know you're another enthusiast (or a psychopath that can snap if they aren't greeted right back).

I don't hold it against the owners who don't wave/pay attention. Before the WRX, there were so few RSs around that it was a big deal to see another one (in fact, fellow RS owners almost always spot each other still) but now that there are so many WRXs, it's like expecting Taurus or Cavalier or Explorer owners to salute each other... it's just not as significant as it used to be.

At first I got no love, but lately other rss and wrxs have been waving. I've only had my rs for 4 months and I'm still a little giddy, so if you see someone waving at you with an overly huge smile on their face, it's probably me

I still see few bug eyes out there, so IMO, I think that they are somewhat rare... so I try and wave to all that I see. most aren't paying attention. and a lot of the wagon drivers are older with thinning grey hair, no offense, but I just figure that you're not into the whole car thing...

I wave to everyone. but I'm not supprised when WRX owners don't wave back. But then, I am kind of scary when I wave.

Bugeyes are rare?

I see at least 2 or more per day. Sure that doesn't compare to the hundred or so Exploders/Escalades/crappy SUV that I see all the time, but I see a lot of bugeyes. Luckily with so many people getting STis now, we'll be rare again soon enough.

What are you talking about man. Subaru only makes the WRX! What's an RS, or an L?
