Hey all,

Thanks

Thanks Sonic. I know these guys have been around for a while but how do they compare to Emmanuals and RPM in the East Bay area? Do they have a mandrel bender as well?

Thanks

To be honest, I don't know how they compare to those other places as I haven't been there. I take my car to SS for everything because I always know they'll point me in the right direction.

Subaru Specialists doesn't have a mandrel bender, but frankly, you don't need one. You just buy pre-bent tubing and fab it up as needed. That's how Nate built my RS exhaust, and it's how he'll build my turboback when I do my engine swap.

I can also vouch for Nate's exhaust work. He'll take care of you

I think Nate also fabbed the roll cage in the race car. Beautiful work (and you don't have to crawl underneath the car to see the workmanship).

You can also try Muffler Tech, they have a shop on Florin and one on Madison. Colby owns the place and is performance car guy to the bone. The Madison shop will be ran by Colby or Paul and the Florin shop is ran by Joe. I would talk to the Madison shop for real custom work only because I know both Colby and Paul are badd **** fabricators. They build all kinds of stuff. Anyway, I would at least get a estimate from them.

Later

Yeah, Muffler Tech (on Florin) does pretty good work. I've taken many a cars to them. Just take your car down there and let them know what kind of work you want done.
