Okay so I can email them for an apology I dont want a free car I just want an explaination, I mean why the hell woiuld they do it if illegal. then again if I did something illegal to Maita they would surely not let it go,would they.

If they admit to the mistake and you don't want to pursue legal action you should at least get that letter I mention and make sure they follow through by clearing it off.
