No, its because I am 40 and age (well no beer) does not allow me to drive a straight line efficiently.

 

Seriously though, I am sure both cars are entirely different. I have put about 8000 miles on my car with the GT30-12 with no issues to date. The car still runs amazingly well and hits about 15PSI at 4000 rpm maxing at around 21-22 psi at 5000. While there have been many people not happy with this particular turbo, I have enjoyed this setup since day one. Aaron is correct, in that I really don't have interest in straight line events, and really enjoy road courses. While my personal skills are average at best, the car and its current setup are well above par, thanks to the S-Squared crew.

BTW Nick is correct in that the headers added an amazing amount of torque to the car. When it was the stock VF-39, it put down 270 whp and 310 wtq. Before the headers and Injen Intake, it put down 257 whp and 277 wtq. At that time I put down at least 1 keg of premium every two months......................wait, that's another subject.
