The motor actually has some decent blow by, so we really didn't want to push it to much, and go for the c16 tune. We are going to wait until I build hte motor before we decide to see how much this turbo has, the drive ability and smoothness on this thing is amazing. I seriously have to give gruppe-s credit the car especially for pump gas is simply put... Amazing....

I wanted to sell my car, but all that went out the window as soon as 4200rpm's hit

+100, I wanna see Mark's car destroy that record, I might have done it on stock motor if I wasn't having so much blow by

Should definately be borderline high 11's low 12's the thing hauls ***. Now if only I wasn't driving the car HAHA. Nah I just gotta get use to launching and shifting this setup, because if you don't shift fast enough and you let that turbo slow down, you are done for while you wait for it to spool again hah

I think it may be.

There was nick from Truckie who had a fast sti. I don't remember his numbers though.

Nicks numbers are higher. And I think he's running a GT30-12.

hmm, horespower is debatable due to different dynos, but the torque numbers are much higher on Nicks car.

Dyno's are really used for tuning, not for ***** bragging rights... Ill goto LA and jump on the dyno jet for those numbers once i can get a c16 tune LOL

P.S. I forgot to mention, this was done at 18.5PSI

very true, they are. But still a 6hp variance don't prove anything to me.

40lb/ft of wheel torque, on the other hand...probably due mostly to the headers, cause if I remember right, Nick only had ~290 lb/ft without the headers.

very comparable cars, actually. Good work LookingForPower, you definitely have one of the most powerful cars here in the SRIC (leagues beyond most of us )

go to i-speed and use their dynapack... it'll give you eleventybillion lb-ft of torque at 2 rpm and 500whp.

Actually, I sense the reason he has more torque is because his turbo spools ALOT faster then the gt35r does. I really don't hit boost until 4200rpm, where I really don't have much time to hit peak torque(laws of phsyics). So I am sincing that is more where he is getting the higher torque, I'd bet if you looked at his dyno chart his peak torque is probably somewhere around where I just start getting into boost

Yeah. Its been a while since I've seen the chart, but I think you are correct.

I can't wait to see what happens if/when you build the motor more to take better advantage of that turbo. Good luck.
