The Canon 20D is the ****

Just got the Canon 20D and am not even halfway comfortable yet and I can already tell the power of this thing. This thing can definately take some ****ing amazing pictures... I can't wait tell i start getting comfortable with it, It can take 5 pictures per second and you can even use a flash if you buy one that can recharge that fast. Also for me other then how fast it takes pictures, is how it has manual exposures so you can have as long of exposure as you want. Then of course the interchangable lenses, right Now I am just using the EFS 17-85mm Lense that came with it then a 70-300mm telescopic lense :HB:

first time messing with the camera, still haven't really played with it to much, i can't wait tell i get use to it... Im stoked!! :HB:

ya im still getting use to this thing, it doesn't have the picture preview like my other camera did so i basically have to guess and check as far as settings. It definately is a badass camera, that picture is nothing compared to what this thing is capable of. I can't get over how badass it is

his eyes are actualyl two colors, you can't really see it in the picture but normally they are blue on the inside and gold on the outside

Some of the first pix I took were horrible. Eliminate the discracting blown out section in the lower right and this could be a really good picture. Since it is there and you can not change it now, I would crop the picture closer to the cat's nose - a similar distance as at the top of the pic and the cat's ear.

When ever possible, shoot with your back to bright light sources like windows - especially windows that badly need to be washed...

Play with the levels a bit, recrop and you can fix almost any background, as long as the subject is good.

haha the cat is the one that makes the window that bad, he rubs his nose against the window when he looks outside. Thanks for the tips I love constructive critisim. I knew about the sun I was just messing with the camera trying to get the hang of it thats why i shot it with the sun facing me. I am thinkin about running out soon and taking pictures of my new daily driver now so maybe I will have some real pictures up in a little bit I still need alot of practice especially with this camera, I am relativley new to taking pictures and I would definately say that I am getting better and better everytime I shoot.

Gahhhh!!! I want a sweet digital. First Josh, then DZ, now you. I should start spending my money on me. Hermff! Why at least when I see my Josh I'll get to play with his camera too.

Oh BTW congratulations on the purchase. It really is a mighty fine piece of equipment.

Nice pics, but you need to work on your depth of field.

Ya definately, I still gotta practice with it more.

Also for the question above the 20D goes for about 1,500 with the "kit" which comes with the body and a lense. and all the other basic stuff
