Brake (not break) question.
So my rotors are grooved and my brake pads are nearly toast...
Should I just get new rotors and replace the Hawk HPS', or should I take this opportunity to "fix" (wink, nudge) my brakes and get 4-pots?

Kit Includes : 2 calipers, 4 slide pins, 2 silencing clips, one set of OEM brake pads, shims, clips and 2 OEM WRX rotors.$778
Oh, and if just rotors/pads, any rotor recommendations?

I originally had the all-OEM setup on my 4 pots. I liked the pads. A little dust, no noise, and they held up well at 2 track days at Thunder Hill. If you don't think you can get away with Stoptechs in the future, FHI 4 pots are the way to go IMO.

I really suggest just replacing the rotors and getting some Axxis Ultimate pads. I've gone through several carbotech models, several hawks, and I'll never buy anything but the ultimates again. The stopping power is unmatched by any of the other pads I've run, they're nice and quiet, and are very resistant to fading. They do dust quite a bit, but most high performance pads do and it never bothers me. I was also pleasently surprised by the wide temperature range they perform under. These won't scare you before they warm up.
Honestly, I'm so impressed with these pads that I end up rambling about them. Just ask Paul what his reaction was when he took my car for a test drive
