uhh ya... those little black things going into the little shiny silver things are called Coil-On plug... the plug being a spark plug... and in a diesel the whole point behind a diesel is it doesn't need a spark plug since they run off compression. So uhh ya, that's 10000% not a diesel...Reason I quoted RussB is because ya, looks like they are doing Direct Injection, you can see the SS lines going into each injector. That's a pretty badass set up though with the reverse manifolds. Clears up ALOT of space on the bottom of the motor where the turbo manifolds would normally be. Maybe so they can mount the motor lower down in the chases and not have to worry about the turbo housing being to low in the car like normal turbo set ups??

Direct Fuel Injection is always good for 30hp over a Intake injected engine. Wonder who is manufacturing those custom Turbos for BMW. You won't see any upgrades for those Turbos. I guess BMW took care of that warranty issue. lol
