Best place to get tires mounted on new wheels?

Hi all,

Just wondering if any of you have had good experiences with local tire shops. I am getting a set of wheels and don't want them scratched.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated?

Thanks, Darren.

Sorry local as in Sacramento area. I live in Natomas and work in Rancho.

Thanks for any feedback, although I probably won't take my wheels to Sam's club.

The Costco out here in Rancho is pretty good. Aaron has had a TON of tires mounted there. Mine included

There's an Americas Tire over at Folsom/Sunrise behind that brookfields or whatever it is.

Costco won't do it anymore, due to corporate policy. Bastards.

Thanks. I will try that America's tires on Sunrise. I went to Costco yesterday at lunch and they won't do the work. Saying that they can guarantee they won't scratch the lip, etc.....

**** Big O. Not only do they charge an arm and a leg and have mediocre tires available, the underpaid tire monkeys will gouge your rims and joyride your car.

I mean, what?

I've had tires mounted at Just Tires on Watt Ave and they did OK (their prices aren't that bad) Les Schwab on Fulton across from Lexus dealership was a little better with service .

There is a very nice shop on fulton and cottage and and they did a very good job w/o scratching 18" wheels with 40 profile tires, were very careful and prices were great, local dealer sends all of their work to that shop and they get a big thumbs up.

Can you tell me the name of that shop on fulton?

I have some wide rims (19x10) with low profile tires (30) that I need mounted and I really don't want the to scratch the lip. I am not too concerned as to how much they charge, I mean how expensive could tire mounting be?

Thanks for you help. Darren.

It's Radial Tire I believe, a local dealer actually sends their cars to them for tire mountings/installs.
