You could call them and ask. I've had my account credited just by making a call

I've already asked about crediting my account but they said they couldnt in situations like this.

 

how long have you had an account with them? Get good with a Branch Manager. They do wonders.

 

You shouldn't have to schmooze the management to get decent customer service.

 

3 years now and my family has been with them for over 15 years. As soon as this gets resolved completely i'm thinking about telling them to close my account and my fiance's account just to see what they say. Last time I was there, I spoke with the branch manager but nothing could be done without a copy of that check. I'm going to try to contact BOA directly and tell them the situation and how long this has been going on. Maybe they can do something...

 

you will usualy get more movement when you talk with the local people. When you call a 800 number, you are just a voice to them.

the branch manager should be able to do something for you. If not, tell him that you are going to move banks because you do not want to have to go through this again if they misplace another check and you be out money from your pocket.


there is no way you should have to pay for the banks screwups.

 

I will eventually get the money from my check and the credit card late fees and interest will all be reversed but the thing is that my motor has been put on hold because I had to use all my cash to pay for classes/book (which i usually pay with my credit card). Now i'm busy with school and its hard to get anything done. If they wouldnt have lost my check I would have been able to get my motor swapped 2 weeks beofore I started school. I even had a date set up and everything with Paul but had to cancel because they f'd up.

 

I dont know how many hours i've spent on the phone or at the branch. I just think its bs the way they keep sending me to get something else everytime I bring the info they requested.

 

well im still waiting on boa. i was talking to a friend of mine who runs a bank and he showed me so many ways i can fk the bank. He gave me a card for a lawyer that has pretty much sued almost every other bank in sac and won. I went into the branch and told them i wanted to schedule a meeting with the branch manager. They asked why and I told them that my lawyer wanted to speak with her. I handed them the card and she looked like she was about to **** her pants. It almost made going through all of this worth it. Im gonna have my friend give the branch a call just to let them know how hard theyre about to get fkd. He said he'd be more than happy to punk a rival bank

I pretty much got the money for the swap now so im not too worried about how much longer its going to take.

 

**** bank of america again for losing another one of my checks. luckily this time i kept all of my receipts for deposits. i went in there and told them to make a copy of the receipt and call me when theyve taken care of it. i felt like dick slapping the manager. 3 hrs later i got a call saying the money will be there by tomorrow

unfortunately i did . i came into work early and they got the paychecks early so i thought i might as well deposit my check and that was the closest boa. that was my first time going back to that bank since i moved to greenhaven a month or so ago.
