it doesn't really follow the story. given it's not in english but I couldn't even follow it by just watching it. instead of takumi beating the FD driver on the mountain pass he beats the R33 driver...etc.
follows the story but not.
it wasn't even worth the download time.

well the least that they could do if they call it what they called it was to stick to the story or at least the comic book instead of making it there own (sort of) and using crap!
it has potential to be good but if would have to be done with japanese and american actors

^^^ Don't totally agree w/ you on the japanese/american actors part but you're titled to your opinion. The film company bought the rights to the comic so the author would say something if it's that "bad" (which he didn't). If the Japanese think they can do a better job, why didn't they shoot the movie loooong time ago? To be blunt, I rather see an Asian playing Takumi rather than Paul Walker.
Yeah... I hate him too! But I look at the film as a whole... 
How many comic turn movie have y'all seen follows the comic book to the exact? Batman? Nope. Spiderman? Sorry. Hulk?? Not really. Oh well, can't please everybody... it is a HK movie.

I think the japanese would have done a way better job anyway
good copy or bad copy, the movie SUCKS! they should burn every copy of that movie, including the studio original, pretend it never happened, and remake it with a different director and maybe some REAL actors.
it's a shame b/c i'm cantonese and have seen some decent movies with the actor that plays Bunta Fujiwara (Takumi's dad). He might be the only one who can act...well Itsuki isn't so bad. Anyhow, as a whole, the movie isn't worth the time to watch it.

I love Anthony Wong, he's the man... The casting ain't great either... Jay Chou can't even speak clearly let alone act. Oh well, since a lot of peeps hate this movie, I'll going to leave and let you guys vent there.
