Apparently, I sold soggynoodles some drift tires!?

According to Falken's website, ST-115's are listed as "D1 Sport" tires. lol

http://www.falkentire.com/tires_motorsport_choose.htm

Also, the new Azenis RT-215 (aka "Sports") will come in 245/45/27... which will probably be just a bit too large for Subarus. Oh, for a set of 245/35/17s!!

I've been thinking about this one, I've got the perfect rims.

You should charge him extra money since he got the drift race tires.

It's not the 245 width that's too big... it's the loss of gear ratio because they're 45 series tires.

And Ed owes me like an extra $100 and like two NOPI chicks because I hooked him up with the "dorifto lyfestyle".

Not that fact that they're 27 inch rims?

And that's not a "27"... it's supposed to be "245/45/17"... stupid typos.

I think it was Freudian. You really want 22's on your track car

Does the site list the actual diameters and widthses? I've got a set of Re070's to burn first, but given the added power of my car, I may need a set of tires mod season.

Don't bother, here are all the specs:

Code:
Falken Azenis RT-215 (aka Azenis Sports) 2005 Sizes
Treadwear: 200, Traction: A, Temperature: A
from http://www.falkentire.com/tires_rt215.htm

Size 195/60R14 205/50R15 205/55R16 215/45ZR16 225/45ZR17 245/45ZR17

Measuring Rim Width 6.0 6.5 6.5 7.0 7.5 8.0

Overall Diameter 23.2 23.1 24.9 23.5 24.9 25.7

24.8" overall diameter is OEM for WRX's (and I'm assuing STi's). The overall diameter of the 245's is 25.7. That's like almost an inch, and would make a pretty big difference in acceleration... at least for us poor 2.0L guys. Not to mention the almost 10" section width! I might have to roll the fenders some more!
