anyone know of a good temp agency?

left my job on friday due to an unresolvable conflict involving several execs and myself. need employment, and looking for recommendations on a temp agency in town. preferably one near the natomas/downtown area, but i can drive a bit if necessary. just in case it's relevant, i do have a BA in International Relations, and have 4 years of management experience with a high volume retailer.

thanks in advance to any who can help!

I went through Apple One a few years back; they actually act as the entry-level HR department for a lot of larger companies/arms in the area (I immediately got on with Washington Mutual doing home loans, which was mind-numbingly boring, but very easy had decent hours, and, for temp work, didn't pay that bad (15/hour after Apple One took their share.)

Most of these companies use the temp agency to provide an effective 3-month probationary period, and they'll usually bring you on full-time with the hiring company after that.

Apple One's got a few offices; the one I used was on Sunrise in Rancho.

Check craigslist. They have a lot of managment positions. Also a lot of jobs in sacramento seem to be outsourcing to temp agencies in SF for some reason

Check out manpower. They're pretty good with placement.

Ask for Noah Reed. Good guy.

i heard from a few co-workers that nelson staffing was a pretty good company. They said they could hook you up with a temp job or a long term one. Im not 100% if its true because i havnt checked it out for myself.
