all the talk about this service or that service is moot, unless you live in the exact same area. i have lived where cingular sucks, and places where sprint sucks even worse, same with verizon.

well i'm just happy to hear Oaf has verizon service where he lives...if he can get signal there (the pit of dispare for all wireless signals) i know i've got to be able to get signal at my house...(about 15-18 miles away from him)
the reason is prolly related to the similarity of my current TDMA phone and Verizons CDMA network...GSM just doen't cut it on anything but line of sight form tower to tower...so it's not ideal for us mountian goats.

plus most CDMA (like TDMA) phones roll over to analog...whereas GSM phones are strictly digital and rollover to a dead line.

I'm a new Sprint rep in EDH. Verizon recently bought Mountain Cellular which has opened things up along Hwy 50 in Eldo County. Sprint, as well as most other carriers, can now use the towers that were owned by Mountain. My Sprint service works just as well as Verizon, which I previously had, in EDH.

I'm sure Verizon would work fine but because I'm new, I'll try to get you a better deal with Sprint.
