It is not the cars that are no good, it is the drivers. Had he not been street racing he would have been fine in the rain with his Mustang. Hell I daily drove a supercharged Mustang for 6 years, quite often on bald tires since I went through them so fast (2 sets of rear tires to each set of fronts). Yokahama AO32Rs make a wet road feel like it is iced over, but I never once lost it in the rain...

I have never owned one, but I have PWN3D several...

These threads are funny, like none of you have EVER street raced a Honda or Mustang... I have, though most of it when I was in my 20's. One time I tried to race a Mustang GT in my 93 Z28 on Travis Blvd in Fairfield, nailed the throttle, pouring rain, did a 360 in the middle of the intersection and skidded into a ditch on the side of the road, it happens and it is dumb but it isn't like you all haven't done the same stuff.

It is also worth noting that most of the "pro death" people here are the younger ones. Watch someone pull your blue, unconscious son out of a river and revive him, followed by a rescue diver pulling your dead wife out of the same river and you will mellow out a little, trust me...

Do I think the guy really deserved to die for street racing - No, but sarcasm is a beyotch and I am a sacrastic evil bastard.

Do I think the road is ever so slightly safer now that this tool will never be on it again and the Honda driver is under arrest - you bet your *** I do.

Have I ever done something dumb behind the wheel - Yup I have and like I said it was dumb.

Do I condone or participate in street racing - Nope

Do I drive faster than I should - Yup I sure do. But as soon as I see ricky racer carving traffic in the rear view I back off and let them go. I know what I can handle and I stay within my limits on the street (and hopefully on the track), I have no idea how well ricky racer can drive and I do not even want him following or trying to pass me at a higher than legal rate of speed. The second he screws the pooch and takes out soccer mom sally and her kids the media and police will call it a street race because 2 cars were within a mile of each other going above the speed limit and at least one of them was an import.

Would it suck to see a rescue diver pull my dead wife out of the river - Yup it sure would. But if I was street racing when it happened I would deserve to go down for murder. **** happens and you deal with it, but I should not have to deal with some retards street racing and taking me, my wife or my family out in the process.

Sorry about the rant. Just something I hated about the tards at my high school.

DZ, If I see someone weaving through cars and they think I'm going to make it easy they are wrong. I might even get hurt being the *** that pulls the sly block move on them. But it's fun and agravates them. Hopefully enough that they stuff it into a wall/tree after they get through. But you are right about what happens afterwards with the soccor mom "witness".

<----selfish *****. Get over it.
