That's ok. The issue with "work safe" is if someone walks up behind a person and sees a big ***** made of candy it could get them in trouble, so be cool, please stop posting that pic.

No worries, I will find a different ***** pic for next week's award. And those that edited my posts without asking me to change them or at the very least just making a link to the picture are in the early running... heh!

Oh, and I will link next week's award instead of posting it...

I *think* linking is ok. Just make sure to put NWS in front of the link so people know the risk before clicking.

thanks.

Going by your rules, when it is posted as ***** of the Week award, shouldn't the NWS go without being said?

When it's an Ali G post, I thought that NWS was understood and universal

In case you missed the point.. We're taking about the 1 profession that deals with influencing children, and how easy it is to become one...

CSU's have awesome teaching programs. How can I compete with Art 1, ceramics, finger painting, history for idiots and math 17b for high school rejects. Over and over again... In a nutt-shell, those are the types of classes you go through to become a teacher in your case A. You’re right, no “reject” could possibly skate through that and go on to become a rapist teacher. It's simply not feasible. I couldn’t at all be possibly be making a statement that holds some amount of truth. Ask any student, I’m sure they’ll agree that the program for becoming a teacher is super easy. Maybe I’m wrong, but I feel that someone who is going to have an impact on a child's life shouldn’t have a free pass to do so.

Again, this doesn't apply to everyone… It’s actually quite funny that you’re bent out of shape at me, while defending your relatives whom I haven’t even personally attacked as you have on me. I'm sure I pissed a few of you off, and im sorry if I did with my broad statements.

GJ on being the better man. lol, gg logic

I never said that "rejects" could not skate through - obviously some have. I just do not think the number of rejects that get through as teachers is any greater than the percentage at any other job. Plain and simple people suck - some more than others.

And for what it is worth, I have looked at a few class lists and can not find:
finger painting
history for idiots
-or-
math 17b for high school rejects

Please tell me where those can be found, maybe my wife will want to take some easy classes for he continuing education program in the future.

I agree with you here, but who the hell is going to spend that kind of money to become a teacher and get paid a salary that will not allow then to ever pay back their student loans? The problem is not the teaching program it is what the tax payers and the district and the government is willing to pay their teachers. Until that changes nobody in their right mind will pop for the education you want them to have.

I am clearly the better man, you still keep coming after a noble profession because you don't seem to think the requirements to do the job are strict enough.

What I am saying is that for every single profession you will find people that have skated by, partied their asses off and still made it in to the profession. Hell even rocket science is no longer rocket science. I used to work with some real rocket scientists when I was at Lockheed Martin in Sunnyvale that I did not think were qualified to ask the ever so important question of "would you like fries with that?". There is at least one billion dollar satellite floating in a useless orbit because a dumb *** high paid rocket scientist/computer nerd in Colorado forgot to change settings from the pre launch exercise to the actual flight software and put the city bus sized satellite in an orbit too low to be even slightly useful.

Just accept the ***** award, admit you are a sh!tmop and move on with your life. You will survive all of this, and some day the taste of your own toe jam will leave your mouth.
