Theres tons do do oudoors, so i'll start there.
There are tons of mountain parks just 20min or so into the mtns from the city (with some fun roads leading to them). There you will find TONS of hiking and biking. I'd suggest going to a book store or REI and picking up a front range hiking guide. Mountain bike trails wise check out www.mtbr.com which has quite a few trails listed there. Also, depending on where you are located, for just a intown run nothing beats washinton park.
Team sports wise, there are quite a few leauges located in denver in most all sports.
What part of town are you located in? That might give us a better idea of what is near to you.

yeah, there's a ton of things to do downtown. The bar/club scene there is really nice. You've probably heard of LoDo (that's short for "lower downtown") which is an area down by Coors Field. There's quite a few jazz clubs downtown too. You've probably been up and down 16th street mall, which is pretty nice. If you're looking for a place to run or ride your bike, you're close to cherry creek which has a bike/running trail. Wash park isn't too far, and city park is just down the road. If shopping is your thing, cherry creek mall is just a few clicks away. There's plenty more. What kind of things do you like to do?

Hooray for wagons! Nice choice, I love the new front end design. Took a while to grow on me, but it did.
If you like the outdoors, you should probably head up to Boulder. Tons of hiking near Chautauqua Park, great driving towards Nederland on Canyon Blvd or Mapleton, cool restaurants, Pearl St. Mall (similar to the 16th St Mall)
Have fun!
