Just moved from Hawaii and I need some HELP! :(
Hey everyone!
So, i shipped my car back from Hawaii and have put off registering my car in CA because I KNOW i won't pass smog, since I took my cats out and tuned my car in hawaii. Yes, I'm still driving around with Hawaii plates on! haha ANYWAY, I kept all my car parts, but since it was tuned, my ECU won't match my stock parts. I'm looking to buy a stock ecu so I can swap my parts out, but does anybody have any other suggestions on passing smog?? Help... please?? O=)

Just a quick question to get more information.
Are you planning on throwing on all your stock parts and keeping it that way? Or are you planning on throwing them on just for smog and then going back to the way you were?
I ask because it's possible to pass smog with just a quality tune and stock downpipe. You don't have to go back to stock to pass smog.

Lol I would like to swap my parts out for the smog and change it back to the parts i got. I guess with that being said... Is there anybody who would let me borrow or rent their ECU?!? LoL aaaand was it bad that I'm admitting that on a public forum?

sorry! yeah they sell E85 at a few (very few) gas pumps around the bay. its mostly ethanol and if you run a gallon or two of it in your tank when you test it really cuts down on the HCs, got two cars past that failed without. Dont run more than 10% though.
