I know a couple of guys that run that mount and it totally holds the weight of the camera and the g's from a road course. I recomend.

i'm very pleased with how this mount performed. i bought the suction cup mount pictured above with the 3" extension.

here's just two of the vids i'm working on from using this mount:

Pocono East - Rear View - 11.5 MB right Click & Save As

1 clean lap - Pocono East - Right Click & Save As - 12.6 MB

neither of those videos work. what type of file is it and how are they encoded?

sorry dude...you mean they don't work for you. they are Real Player Real Media files.

these have been posted to my other boards and folks aren't having issue with playing them. maybe you need to download the free realplayer software?

I know that none of the groups I've run with would pass that mount. It must be "securely attached to the car, and tethered." Maybe if the camera was tethered so that there's no way it could make it to the driver or the pedals, some places might pass it.
