Hey guys, so I hit 1000 miles yesterday. Now I want intake to allow that turbo to breath a little better, and to make some cool noises. I have selected the HKS Racing Suction Intake available from www.gruppe-s.com . It is $295 and not only comes with the filter and mounting hardware, but it comes with the hard pipe which is similar to that of the one that ZEROSPORTS makes. Does anyone have this intake on their car? If you do how does it sound/perform? Did you get a CEL with this? ANY information is GREATLY appreciated as it will help inform me about my purchase! THANKS GUYS!

I dont want teh Blitz cuz it is not a foam or paper filter, and i dont trust the metal filter. I had an HKS filter on my GC8 and liked it. As far as Turbo XS goes, i only buy JDM parts, so it is out of the question. I know it sounds dumb, but i put JDM parts on a Japanese car....just my style i guess.

Go search for HKS intakes in NASIOC and you should be able to find an article saying their filtration is worse than stock and IMHO that HKS intakes is a little bit overrated
I would get the ARC intake box...proven and JDM

 

Wil the ARC still give me all of hte cool sounds that the HKS or a blitz will?

What about the Zerosports kit? It comes witht he hard pipe and the metal filter.

Because i wantt o be able to retain all of my stock parts so in case i ever sell the car I can put it back to stock.
