Esp????......................help?

Correct me if I"m wroung but in esp you can run an ecu reflash, dp, cat-back,header, coil-over/ springs and shocks, camber caster plates and camber bolts.

Now from my reading (I've done alot tonight) it seems the big thing needed to be competitive is R-comp tire is this all correct. I did a search, but I guess I'm looking for some direction.

Thanks for the help

Can I run 8 inch wide wheels or is the maxs 7.5 inch?

Google returned this page that may help. Contains links to official SCCA rules as well as other unofficial pages. You should always consult the official rule book for the latest revisions in your class.

I see by your member Profile that you drive a '99 2.5 RS but it always helps to state what vehicle you drive since some members have a different car for autocross/track use.

A '99 2.5RS would not run in ESP, but DSP. I assume this means he will be running with a WRX of some sort.

For the full rules, you can download the 2005 rule book, from the SCCA website but be sure to check the monthly FasTrack newsletters for the newest updates to the rules.

Oh, and for street prepared classes, you can run any offset, width and diameter wheel.

Keep in mind, if you are driving an 05 STi, its about 99% certain you will bump into BSP, but a new regulation will allow altered boost levels.

So, get your engine management as well as all your other mods.

Heads up!

For 2006: STi's and EVO's will get bumped out of ESP due to changes in ECU management regulations. This was in the minutes from a recent Sports Car issue.

I drive a Forester XT so I'm happy about this change. My "SUV" is going to eat up the domestics in ESP. LOLOLOL
