Crazy fallout man. I'm curious what's going to happen to the drivers championship?

It seems that so far its only been "confirmed" that McLaren are excluded from the constructors crown.

3. If McLaren are found guilty of cheating why should they just be removed from the Constructors' Championship? Surely the drivers in the cars have benefited from increased speed thanks to this information gained and their positions within the respective tables are also false?

F'in seriously....The drivers don't care about the constructor's title...they want THEIR title. They should BE punished as well!!!!

Honestly, I bet you its politics and news stuff. If a rookie wins the championship, it'll be huge news for the sport and it could be the one thing that helps to overshadow the spying scandal in the history books.

The McLaren drivers SHOULD be stripped as well. Afterall they are currently benefiting from cars that were found to be cheating.

Oh, I definitely agree. I'm just speculating as to why it didn't pan out that way.

But, McLaren is taking a huge hit on this too. $100m plus the loss of probably another $100m or $200m by losing their slice of TV profits and travel budget usually alloted by FOM.
