Brian Lock On Top Step at Buttonwillow Raceway!

6/11/2005 Buttonwillow, CA- The US Touring Car Championship returned from Phoenix to the (slightly) cooler climate of Southern California for Round 3 of the 2005 series. Excitement was in the air from day one, starting with the record entry of 24 cars! For the series points leaders, like Dave Brown, Jeff Lepper, and Justin Elin, this was the next step in their hunt for the championship. For newer teams, this was the last chance to test and tune with the USTCC field before the impending climactic battle at the San Jose Grand Prix. For Brian Lock and GOTO:Racing, it meant recovering the momentum lost by the heartbreaking DNF at Phoenix. Brian knew he should have been on the podium that day, but had been forced to wait for this early June weekend to attempt to redeem himself and the team.
