yes,played all off the memory card. i also was able to get 2.0 UMD disc working also. 2.5 should work also

there is news that there is a way to downgrade from 2.5/2.6 to 1.5 now

For those of you that use airport, PSP can be used as a controller.

Airport is a wireless network technology where a group may use to share music via I-tunes. It also allows one to play their music from their computer onto their stereo wirelessly w/ a hi-fi receiver. The cool thing is, PSP can be used as a wireless remote to control the songs you want to play.

with dev hook being able to emulate latest verions of firmware, would that allow psp 1.5 to have a browser and other features that regular 1.5 psps dont?

 

yes, you will be able to use all the features of that latest firmware. web browser, themes, etc. turning off to "Sleep" will still resume from where you left it at. you have to hold the power off button to return back to 1.5

Not sure if this is possible. I've asked a couple people about it however, it was unknown. Is there a way to hack the white JDM psp, so that it can play US (or all region) UMD movies? I know it plays the games and whatever, just wanted to know if anyone knew of a way to **** block the restricted acess bs on the UMD movies..

UMDs can't be done. You're better off downloading movies and stick it on to your memory stick.

I'm wondering if its even worth it to get the white psp.. only reason im considering it is because we have one at work that i can get for 100....

 

that's cheap.. get it.. memory duo 4gb is out.. i heard.. get that and you can watch crap load of movies.. i have a software that converts most video format to mp4 (psp video format) let me know if you're interested.
