V, Inc. is a third-tier manufacturer bolting together components to build high-spec, low-cost TVs. V, Inc. sells its products under the Vizio name through big box retailers like Costco and Target. Low cost is a key component of the company's business strategy. A spokesperson for Vizio said the company was relying on high-volume sales achieved though retail giants like Costco and Sam's Club to give it buying leverage with suppliers, keeping prices of flat-panel TVs at previously unseen lows. The company manufactures the product in Thailand.
so TDM meant Thailand Domestic Market?
hmm but (http://www.ocregister.com/ocregister..._1295013.php):
The TVs are made in Asia with parts selected by Vizio, Schindler said. The glass, which is the most expensive piece of a flat-panel TV, is from "a top three manufacturer," he said, without naming names. Because of that, Vizio can guarantee that its TVs will have "zero bright pixel," which means you won't see a fizzled pixel. And because it sells mostly at Costco, which has generous return policies, Vizio must contend with the retailer if there are too many returns.
so not just taiwan or thailand, but a bunch of different places. HQ is in costa mesa.

I have a TV at a "Mike Mkay" Special.
It's a 32" LCD 720p Samsung White Pearl. Two of them actualy. One is open and out of its box and the other one is in it's box. Both are $1099.99 The store is willing to let them go for $899.99 or was it $859.99? hmmm
We had another one which was an Insignia which was 32" as well. Open box and it sold for $300. It went quick.
I think we have a LG 50" Plasma 720p for $1599.99. Looks good.
If you want any info on any tv. Let me know. I know tha some of the TV's online are a bit more then the ones that we have priced in the store. Some are cheaper online then ours.
